"Data processing by computers is a great thing. ERP systems are an integral part in many companies to make value creation processes more efficient and to optimize business processes. Machine learning and artificial intelligence methods help transform data into knowledge and form the basis for a new generation of intelligent machines.
In practice, however, it is often the case that the physical basis for collecting the necessary data is still lacking. Which sensors, for example, are suitable for recording the travel routes of forklift trucks? Which technology can also be used in warehouses to determine position when a GPS signal is too weak? Which interfaces are necessary so that such a system can be integrated into the existing infrastructure? In short: How can the physical world be networked with the digital world smoothly, cost-effectively and flexibly?
We want to help companies answer these questions and work together to implement your individual vision of the next industrial revolution (Industry 4.0). To this end, we are developing a new generation of modular and intelligent IoT hardware that can be easily adapted to a variety of specific use cases. Scalable computing power enables long battery runtimes or the execution of complex AI algorithms directly on site (edge computing), depending on requirements. Certified security standards on hardware level up to network communication ensure the protection of critical infrastructure. Container virtualization and standardized hardware access enable device-independent software that can be installed on demand as if from an app store. In addition, we help companies develop AI algorithms to fully exploit the potential of the newly acquired data. For us, intelligent data processing and the development of hardware for data acquisition and control are not separate areas, but two sides of the same coin."
