Career Captain

"By the year 2030, Germany will see a three-million shortfall in skilled workers. The trend will become most apparent in vocational education and training. During the Covid-19 period especially, with the absence of trade fairs and internships that came with it, fewer and fewer apprenticeship agreements materialized. Outdated recruiting methods are just one of the causes of this trend. For those Centennials (Generation Z) now joining the labour market, their ability to use digital technologies and interact with the companies is pivotal. The Career Captain solution is geared towards two target groups: companies and pupils. The former aim to refine their vocational training and education offerings to make them more target-group-appropriate and to enhance their employer brand. Using an AI-based orientation test, Career Captain helps pupils to find a selection of potential apprenticeships and playfully explore interesting companies in virtual corporate worlds. Through this approach, companies can present themselves to relevant target groups and allow pupils an insight into their organization which they so urgently need in order to make their career choice. At the same time, Career Captain provides training companies with an innovative recruiting tool to help them find suitable apprentices and gain their long-term loyalty. Doing so will counter the shortage of skilled workers and enable young individuals to find the right occupation for them. The AI-based orientation test is designed to offer user recommendations on the right apprenticeships and companies based on how they respond to the individual questions.“
